Terms and Conditions

Once registered as a customer of Aldav Logistics, you have agreed to our terms and conditions; hence, you are encouraged to read carefully. Aldav Logistics reserves the rights to amend these terms and condition at any time.

• All rates shown are estimates and are subject to change without notice.

• If there is any damage to the packages on delivery, please contact us immediately.

• Packages weighing 1-12lbs are subjected to a processing fee of $250 JMD.

• Packages over
  12lbs are subject to a processing fee of $350JMD.

• Packages 20-
  35lbs are subject to a handling fee of $1250JMD.

• Packages over
  35lbs are subject to a handling fee of $2000JMD.

• Weight with decimal point is rounded up to the next whole figure.

• Prior to finalizing purchase of an item that you require us to source, ship and deliver on your behalf, there is a 50%

  non-refundable deposit of the cost price of the item. The storage term and condition applies once the item has been purchased and billed.

Storage

Packages that are not collected within fourteen (14) days after the billed date will attract a storage cost of $250 per day. If packages are not collected after thirty (30) days of the billed date they will be sold by Aldav Logistics to recover freight and other costs.

Customs Charges

Items valued at 100USD or less is not subject to import duties. The appropriate duties will be applied to items exceeding 100USD.

Items imported for commercial use will be subject to import charges, regardless of the Free on Board (FOB) value.

N.B We clear packages quickly and pay additional clearance fees (customs charges) upfront. These fees will be reflected on the affected invoices.

Return Procedures

We are presently unable to facilitate return services; however, advice can be given as to how to have your packages returned to the merchant.

Restricted Items and Permits

Permit is required to import certain items into the country. These permits should be sought from the appropriate governing bodies prior to purchase of these items. Any contravention of these permits may result in a fine or the appropriate actions taken against you.

Restricted items include but not limited to; any form of weapons or parts thereof, pepper spray, toy guns, explosives, firecrackers, unprocessed meats, fruits, any illegal substance, vegetables, animals, plants, camouflage/military clothing etc. Please see the customs website and other associated websites for restricted items.

Appropriate governing bodies for permits include but not limited to; Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Security, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Division and Kingston and St Andrew Health Department.

Identification

Proper identification will be required for receival of packages. In cases where someone is collecting a package on your behalf, an email should be sent to Aldav Logistics ([email protected]/[email protected]) with the person's name and a request. Identification for that individual will be required. A signature will also be required for collection of all packages.

  N.B Payment MUST be reflected in account and proof sent to us before packages are checked out.

Customer Responsibility

Sole responsibility lies with the customer to ensure that all package, shipped or mailed to our warehouse facility is in accordance with all import regulation of Jamaica or otherwise. Customers will be liable for breaches of any law, permit or restriction.

Aldav Logistics should be notified before packages requiring special attention or handling arrive at our warehouse facility as we will not be liable for any damage or mishandling of such package.
